Have you seen it - Police are asking everyone using the local canal walks to keep their eyes open.

Some time between Friday 08/11/2024 and Wednesday 13/11/2024 a red and black narrowboat with a red and cream roof has been stolen on the canal in Wilmcote. The direction of travel is believed to have been towards Stratford. Attached is a recent photograph of the narrowboat, which was undergoing slight exterior works, meaning the name on the side had been temporarily removed, so the boat will not be identifiable by means of name, however the markings and rework pattern are unique.

The Canal and River Trust are aware of this incident and are working alongside the Police to track it down, however if you are out on a walk along local canals and mariners and see this boat please ring 101 quoting 23/48472/24, with an exact location, preferable a What3Words location, so that we can attend to identify the boat and conduct the relevant checks and investigation.
